My fondest memories as a kid, laying up in bed listening to the laughing of my parents (Roy and Norma) and Dr. and Mrs. Grogan (no I still can't call you Dave and Patty) down in the living room, into the wee hours of the night after a dinner/bridge game long gone. They explified for us year after year the true value of best friends, love, fun and laughter. We should all be so lucky. I'm sure, all together again, they're all keeping the heaven's awake now...

Amy and Kit,
I will always have in my minds eye the picture of your mom and dad in the MG pulling into my brother Ted's gas station.
We extend our deepest sympathy for the passing of your parents.

Dr. Grogan was a kind, gentle man. I will never forget him coming to my parents' house on Christmas Eve one year to adjust an appliance for my mother. She was in a wheelchair and it would have been difficult for her to get to the office. He did not want her to be in pain over the holiday, so he brought his tools and fixed whatever the problem was in their kitchen. His repair did the trick. The granddaughter who was there was fascinated and the adults were impressed by the dentist who made a house call! RIP Dr. Grogan.

He was my dentist many moons ago on Park Avenue in Bridgeport where he had his practice. He was a gentle loving man. May he rest in eternal peace.

We were so sorry to hear of Dr. Grogan's passing. He was truly a special person...his manner and his smile exuded caring and kindness. A truly gentle man.

I will always remember his joy for life, the child-like excitement he expressed when talking about his trip to Machu Picchu. Even the pleasure he got out of the dumb old joke I told him about what one frog said to the other...time sure is fun when you're having flies. He took genuine pleasure in the simplest of things.

There are so many of us former patients whose lives he touched in a special way. I hope that our remembering him to you will, in some small way, help you through your time of sorrow. We are sending you our deepest sympathies. He was truly special person, and we are thankful for having known him.
