David Henshaw Obituary
David B. Henshaw, 68, of Bridgeport, passed away Monday, January 16, 2023. David was born in Bridgeport on January 25, 1954. He worked as a journeyman electrician for many local and national electrical contractors and was a longtime member of I.B.E.W Local Union 488.
David had a lifelong love of nature and wildlife, raising many mammals and reptiles. He was a bird watcher in his younger years, photographing many native birds at the Fairfield Audubon Center. In 1987 at the L'Ambiance Plaza collapse site, he was one of the many volunteers who assisted in the search for survivors.
David was predeceased by parents, Maurice and Betty Henshaw. He is survived by his brother, John Henshaw and wife Susan; sisters, Margery Jones and husband Ian and Amy Ronge and husband Klaus. David is also survived by many nieces, nephews and by longtime friend, Ana Masas.
A graveside service was held privately. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
