David Kelly Obituary
David D. Kelly, age 64, of Shelton entered into rest on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at the Connecticut Hospice with his family by his side after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was the devoted husband of 38 years to Mary Ellen (Quinn) Kelly. David was born in Stamford on March 3, 1957, son of the late James and Alice (Nosenzo) Kelly. He worked in executive management at Pitney Bowes, Spectrum Plastics, NPI Medical and Emery Winslow Scale Company over a span of 43 years. The most important part of David's life was his fierce love for his family. David was the beloved father of Michael Kelly, Daniel Kelly and wife Tara and Patrick Kelly and wife Monica. Brother to Kevin Kelly and his wife Patricia, Elizabeth Kelly and Eileen Kelly. He was the loving grandfather of Aubrey, Lillian, Tyler, Daniel, Madison and Jacob Kelly and was also survived by many treasured nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton. On Friday, friends are invited to go directly to St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave., Shelton for his Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. His burial will follow at Lawn Cemetery. The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to Project Purple, 115 Main St. Ste. 1, Seymour, CT 06483 or CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405. David's family would like to extend a special thank you to Smilow Cancer Hospital for their care and support. Friends may leave condolences at www.riverviewfh.com.
