I worked with David at the American Stock Exchange from 1992 -1994. I was a new attorney on staff and he was my peer supervisor. He was excellent. I am surprised that I don't see any other postings here from our Amex section as he was very well liked and a great attorney
My sincere condolences to his family.

Dave was always a great guy. In high school, we had really fun times. The nights just driving around in his father“s enormous car or my little Chevy Chevette. The high school parties and the friendship that we had. He was very well liked and always quick with a job. Rest in peace.

My sincerest condolences. I know David from junior high school and high school. He was funny and a great person to be around. We had many nights just driving around, in his Dad's huge SUV, and laughing at everything and anything. To this day I still look back and laugh at the jokes made and situations we found ourselves in. To Dave's parents, you were always kind and great to be around. I cannot image your pain. Please know that despite the passage of over 30 years, Dave is still fondly remembered. To Dave's family, I am sad that you lost such a great person. Believe that he is in heaven and watching over all of you.

Baruch Dayan Emet... Very sad to hear of the loss of Dave. Great memories going back to Syosset High School, having Dave as a college roommate for a semester at SUNY Binghamton, having Dave and Wendy at my wedding more than a few years later. Although we lost touch over the years, I will always remember Dave as a very good guy. My condolences to Wendy and his children.

I was shocked and deeply saddened by the news of David's passing. I know that my colleagues and I will miss his affable personality, cheerful disposition, keen intellect and wise counsel. Through his example, he etched his high standards of excellence, professionalism and fairness on the way we practiced our craft and endeavored to protect the investing public. Because his influence and impact were so profound, David's memory will endure and will be reflected in the way each of us continue to practice our craft. I extend my sincerest sympathies to his family.

We are so deeply saddened by the loss of our dear old friend,Dave. He was a truly great friend and absolute mensch. I will cherish the times spent in our youth at Syosset High School and SUNY-Binghamtom. So glad that I was able to have dinner with him about a year ago and reminisce about the old days. I will miss you my brother and all the Binghamton gang will keep your memory alive. RIP

My thoughts are with Wendy and the entire family. I got to know David as a tough "adversary" and came to admire and respect him as an outstanding lawyer and, more important, as a person of great integrity and compassion.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of David's passing. For many years, he and I crossed paths on many occasions, usually as adversaries in Amex and FINRA securities enforcement matters. I found him to be a fierce competitor, but a gentleman and a man of compassion. He was also a devoted family man, and often described his children to me as the most important part of his life. To the New York City legal and financial community, David will always be remembered as a fine lawyer and an excellent man. We will miss him.

There are no words to express my sympathies to his family. I've worked with David for 11 years as his assistant and coming to work won't be the same. He wasn't only my boss, he was a friend with a listening ear and good advice. His humor and presence will be extremely missed.

Our hearts go out to all the family - especially Wendy, Matt and Jenna. I am so very sorry for such a loss at such a young age. Dave will forever be in our hearts as he and all of you had been such an integral part of our lives from the time Matt was at Mill Hill- from call the Suzuki Violin moments with Jenna to Bar Mitzvah celebrations and Adirondack Cabin jaunts with Matt! Dave was a friend and pal to all of us - we will miss him deeply. Our prayers go out to you for comfort during this very difficult time.
