Dieguez-Denby, Dolores
Dolores Dieguez Denby passed away on Friday, February 27, 2015 with her family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on July 28, 1953, she was a graduate of Trumbull High School. Dolores was a warmhearted giving person who loved her family, friends and her dog Oliver. She had a great love for animals. Dolores was extremely talented. She was a creative crafter. She enjoyed sewing, antiques, baking and cooking for her family and friends. Most of all, she loved spending time in Vermont. Her kind ways will be deeply missed by all the people she touched. Dolores was survived by her son, Richard Karkellie of Texas, daughter, Laura Karkellie of Colorado, mother, Teresa (Rodriguez) Dieguez of Trumbull, brother, Alejandro Dieguez Jr. and his wife Deborah of Whitestone, NY, sister, Elena Dieguez and Glen Belush of Monroe. Also an aunt, Teresa Fernandez and cousin, Luz Kaulfers of NJ, companion, Richard Donnelly of Milford and several cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Alejandro Dieguez Sr., her husband Russell Denby Jr., grandparents, Avelino and Caridad Rodriguez and Alejandro and Jacinta Dieguez. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 10:30 AM DIRECTLY in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull with a Mass of the Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Arrangements entrusted to the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Ave., Bridgeport.
