Don Stewart Obituary

STEWART Don A. Stewart, age 72 of Stratford died Thursday, March 24, 2005 at Bridgeport Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of this city having been born here. He attended the University of Bridgeport and was formerly employed at Firestone of Fairfield. Survivors include his wife, Dora Wilson Stewart of Stratford, two stepsons, Mitchell Wilson of Bridgeport and Russell Wilson of Texas, a brother, Thomas (his wife Lois) Stewart, III of New York, a sister, Sandra (her husband David) Thorpe of FL, a nephew, David (his wife Miranda) Thorpe of WA, a niece, Susan (her husband John) Potz of Southbury, two step grandsons and an adopted niece, Genise (her husband Dwight) McLean of Bridgeport. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11 a.m. in the chapel of Morton's Mortuary, Inc., 25 Margaret E. Morton Lane, Bridgeport with Pastor Christine McCaskill, pastor of the House of Prayer and Deliverance, Bridgeport, officiating. Interment will take place in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport. There will be no calling hours.
