Doris E. Gagne Chaco, a beloved homemaker and dedicated employee at Bryant Electric for over 20 years, passed away at the age of 96 on September 16, 2023, in Hampstead, North Carolina. She was born on November 19, 1926, in Webster, Massachusetts.
Doris lived a fulfilling life, enjoying her roles as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her work at Bryant Electric showcased her commitment and dedication to her craft. Throughout her career, she performed various roles, leaving a lasting impact on her colleagues and the company.
In her free time, Doris cherished the opportunity to travel with her family, creating cherished memories that will be forever treasured. She had a warm and caring spirit, always putting the needs of her loved ones first. Doris was a pillar of strength and support for her family, and her presence will be deeply missed.
Doris is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Oiada Gagne, her loving husband Cyril M. Chaco, numerous brothers and sisters, and two daughters-in-law. Although she faced the loss of loved ones throughout her life, Doris remained resilient, showing unwavering strength and courage.
She is survived by her three sons, Mathew Chaco of Milford, CT, Cyril O. Chaco of Leland, NC, and Michael (Sharon) Chaco of Milford, CT. Doris also leaves behind three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann Church, 501 Naugatuck Avenue, Milford, with burial in St. John Cemetery in Stratford. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford, CT.
