McEVOY Doris Mary McCoy McEvoy, age 85, formerly of Derby, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at the Arden House, Hamden. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward J. McEvoy Sr. She was the loving mother of Edward J. McEvoy Jr. and his wife, Debbie, of North Haven, and Theresa Porter and her husband, Tom, of Cape Coral, Fla. Friends may call on Thursday (TODAY) from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth Street, Derby. Her funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Michael Slusz officiating. Her burial will follow at Mt. St. Peterts Cemetery.
