Deacon Earnest Lee Satawhite age 92, entered into eternal peace on Tuesday August 17, 2021 in the West Haven Veterans Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 28th, 2021 at 11:00 AM, East End Baptist Church, 548 Central Ave, Bridgeport, CT. Family will receive guest from 9:00 AM until time of service at the church. Interment will take place at Mt. Grove Cemetery, Harvester Road, Easton, CT. My sincere condolences go out to the Satawhite family. Mr, Earnest was my fathers, mine and my brothers barber growing up on the east side while living in Father Panik Village.. Always pleasant and welcomed you with a smile and you walked out with a really nice hair cut....RIP Mr. Earnest thanks for everything from the Holbrook Family.

Deepest sympathy to the Satawhite family. Ernie was a customer and a friend when I owned the Texaco station on Reservoir Ave for many years. I remember when Dereck was little, he was always by Ernie's side you could easily see the love that they had for each other. A very kind and generous man who will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Mr. Satawhite was a "Deacon" indeed; such a kind man, who walked the walk, by working hard and serving others in a Christianlike, unassuming manner.
Mr. Satawhite was my Dad's Barber well over 50 years and dutifully traveled to his nursing home in Southport to cut his hair.
May he rest in peace, as he reaps his eternal rewards in the arms of Almighty God.
