Edward Stephen Pirhala
Edward Stephen Pirhala, age 72, of Stratford, the beloved husband of Karen Bonacci Pirhala, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021 in his home. Born in Bridgeport on September 27, 1948 to the late Edward and Doris (Diamond) Pirhala he has been a lifelong area resident. Ed was retired from WWE where he worked as an IT specialist. Survivors in addition to his wife Karen include 2 sisters-in-law, Judy and Patricia Pirhala, a nephew Marc Pirhala and his wife Danielle, 2 nieces, Stephanie Pirhala and her fiancé John Lanning and Alexandra Pirhala. Ed was predeceased by his parents and brothers, Jeffrey and Arthur. Due to the current health situation, the family has elected to have a private family service. A gathering to celebrate Ed's life will be announced at a later time. The Adzima Funeral Home-Stratford has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
