Edward Simmons Obituary
Edward B. Simmons, 83 of Henderson NV died on Wednesday July 25th in his home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on July 30th 1928 in Bpt CT to William and Cecelia Simmons. Former husband of Stephanie M.Simmons and Shirley
Valentine. A Korean War Veteran and graduate of Bridgeport Engineering. A life long Iron worker foreman for Locals 424, 15 and 40.
Ed loved his long walks, swimming, working out at the gym and playing cards. Ed had a passion for betting the horses and trying
to figure out "the system".
Survived by companion Diana Leslie, Edward Simmons Jr and wife Patricia, daughter Lori Klein. Grandchildren Michael Simmons,
Nicole Klein and Christina Klein. Preceeded by brothers William and Harold and children Kevin and Karen Simmons.
Special thanks to Diana Leslie for being there every step of the way as he fought his battle.
Also to Solari Hospice "Jennifer" for her unbelievable compassion and guidance.

Eddie,was one of the finest men I worked with in Connecticut and New York. He wasn't afraid to share his knowledge of Ironwork,and always had your back. Ray Aubin and I had plans to meet him in Las Vegas,but Ed passed away.Now Ray is gone also. Tom Maguire

I will remember Ed as a teacher of Ironwork, with a big heart for his friends.All the fun we had working for Ed with Stamford Iron.Ed was a great Ironworker and a true friend. God bless you Eddie.

I will remember Ed as a man chasing a dream and sometimes living it.
Those who were lucky enough to work with Ed will remember him as an Ironworking Legend. God Bless Ed and his family.
