Edwin J. Trinder Jr.

TRINDER Edwin J. Trinder Jr., age 74, beloved husband of Fernanda Faustini Trinder of Stratford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at Bridgeport Hospital with his family by his side. Mr. Trinder was born in Bridgeport on February 14, 1932 and was the son of the late Edwin and Elizabeth Kish Trinder. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War and a manufacturing engineer with Sikorsky Aircraft for 40 years and also a member of the Stratford VFW Post 9460. In addition to his devoted wife, Fernanda, he is also survived by three daughters, Linda Gottschalk and her husband, Michael, of Seymour, Debbie Walinski and her husband, Steven, of Seymour and Karen East and her companion, Kevin Evitts, of Derby; sister-in-law, Dorothy Trinder; three grandchildren, Christa Gottschalk, Lisa Dulka and Alyssa East; two great-grandchildren, Karlie Gottschalk and Austin Dulka; and several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his brother, Jack Trinder; and his sister, Elizabeth Whetstine. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at 9 a.m. in the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford and at 10 a.m. in St. Mark's Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
