Eileen Dugan Obituary
Eileen Dugan, age 92, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022 (Wedding Anniversary) with her family by her side. Eileen was the beloved wife of 68 years to the late Earl W. Dugan, Sr., and a lifelong Milford resident. Mrs. Dugan was born on October 29, 1929 to the late Jane and Peter Phelan. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Gabriel's Church. She worked at Rex Oil and Subway as a store coordinator. Her favorite activities were doing puzzles, reading books and going to dinner with Dad. She was also a founding member of the Milford Irish Club. Survivors include her children: Earl Dugan Jr. (Ann) of East Granby, Timothy Dugan (Susan) of WI, Deborah Mead of Milford; five grandchildren: Heather Luna (Erik), Kimberly Vollono (Scott), Brigid Ingram (Scott), Kaitlin Torres (Chris), and Erin Dugan; and seven great-grandchildren: Ethan, Colin, Harper, Maisie, Maggie, Declan, and Weston. She is further survived by her sister Jane Falcone, her sister-in-law Lorretta Dugan and Mary Brandon (Tim), Eileen Schmidt (Arthur), Linda Fearles, Jane Hill, Teresa Pauloski (Rick), Peter Phelan III (Teresa), Jacqueline Wydra (Steven), Tracey William (David). She was preceded in death by her brother Peter Phelan Jr., sister Patty Phelan, brother in-law George Dugan and sister-in-law Kay Phelan, Catherine Phelan, Sheila Porter and Clint Porter. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, October 12 at 12:30 p.m. in Saint Gabriel Church, 26 Broadway, Milford. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Milford. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eileen's name to a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted with the GREGORY F.
