Eileen Kramer Krasnow, age 78, of Fairfield, beloved wife of Edward Krasnow, passed away on September 15, 2016 with her family by her side. Born in New Haven on August 12, 1938 a daughter of the late Mary (Chatzek) and Solomon Kramer. She graduated from Hillhouse High School, and Cum Laude from Southern CT State College with a Bachelor of Science in 1960. She continued with a Masters in Library Science from Southern CT State College in 1971. She continued her education at the University of Bridgeport, obtaining a Degree of Juris Doctorate in May 1984. She then joined her husband Edward in the practice of law. Eileen and Ed first met as teenagers at the wedding of Eileen's sister. She was an avid reader and Bridge player. She was a member of the Bridgeport Bar Association, CT Bar Association and the CT Trial Lawyers Association. She was also admitted to practice in the United States District Court of CT, December 1984. Eileen and Edward practiced law with two of their three children, Jennifer Krasnow and Marc Krasnow. Their younger son Jay is an Intelligence Officer at the National Geospacial Intelligence Agency in Washington DC. Loving Mother of Jennifer Krasnow (Steven Snow), Marc Krasnow (Joanne) and Jay Krasnow, adoring grandmother of Kayla and J.B. Krasnow and Simone Krasnow Snow, sister of Rhoda Kamens. Funeral services will take place at the Abraham L. Green & Son Funeral Home, 88 Beach Road, Fairfield on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 3PM, with visitation beginning at 2:30PM. The family will sit Shiva at 54 Stirrup Hill Road, Fairfield, on Monday, September 19, 2016 from 5-8 PM.
