Harris, Elizabeth L.
Elizabeth L. Harris, age 91, died peacefully on Aug. 2, 2014 in her residence at Atria Larson Place in Hamden after a long illness. Born on May 12,1923, she resided in Venice, Florida for twenty three years and for the past seven years had been lovingly nurtured at Larson Place. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Arthur Harris and was the loving mother of two daughters, Carolyn D'Auria of Hamden and Jacqueline Demeter and her husband Joseph of Bridgeport, three grandchildren, Shari Grayson, Joseph Demeter and Jaclyn Demeter and two great grandchildren Haley and Emily Grayson. Her journey was long due to Alzheimer's disease and she is finally at peace. She will be sadly missed by her devoted family whom helped care for her for many years.
Friends may call at Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave., Hamden on Tuesday from 4 - 7 pm with a prayer service to be held at 7:00. Burial will be Wednesday morning at 11:00 in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CT.
