Ernestine Darden Obituary
Ernestine Bember Darden, affectionately known as Ernie B., was born on February 22, 1955, in Dorchester, South Carolina, to the late Rethea Smith Bember and Gertshel Bember. She was the loving wife of the late David William Darden. On June 16, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family, Ernestine peacefully entered eternal rest.
A celebration of Ernestine's life and legacy is planned for Friday, June 27, 2025 at Trinity Temple Church of God in Christ, 285 Dixwell Avenue, New Haven, CT 06511. A wake and viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Services will start at 11:00 a.m. For full obituary and to leave a condolence, please visit Colonialfunerals.com.
