Madar, Esther Rose Madar, age 80, of Milford, beloved wife of Frank J. Madar of 53 years, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2016 in her home, with her loving family by her side. Esther was born on September 4, 1936 in Portchester, NY and was the daughter of the late Leonard and Rose (Lovallo) Carlucci. She was employed by Weight Watchers as a receptionist for several years. In addition to her husband Esther is survived by three daughters, Rosann Farrell of Milford, Kathleen Nolan and her husband Peter of Shelton, Angelina Philipp and her husband David of Stratford, a son John Madar and his wife Aileen of Myrtle Beach, SC, nine grandchildren, Leah, Brandon, Mark, Stacie, Julia, Andrew, Tyler, Ryan and Austin and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by four brothers, Dominick, John, Leonard and Anthony Carlucci. The family would like to acknowledge the special family members who helped with her care. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 10:30 AM directly in St. Mark Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Birendra Soreng. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street Stratford, on Tuesday from 4:00 -8:00 PM.
