Sad news to hear of Frankie’s passing. Memories of her growing up. My sister ( who has since passed) and Fran were born at the same time and in the same hospital in Bridgeport. Her brother and I go back a long way.
My sympathy and thoughts go out to the Soriano family.

Affectionately called “Aunt Frannie” by Jerry’s three daughters, we loved visiting her every summer as kids. She was always a fun and joyful person who had a million-dollar smile. She had the most incredible collection of costume jewelry, Hawaiian moo moos and theatre garb that we would put on and prance around the house while she laughed and told us the story behind every item. As adults, she always stayed connected with us and continued her Tony Award-winning role as Aunt Frannie. Rest in peace, Aunt Frannie, you will be missed. Love, Charlie.

Frances and I were in Irene Comer's dancing classes together in Bridgeport circa 1949. We ran into each other again around 1958 when she told me her stage name, Francesca Bell, and that she was going to appear in the London production of West Side Story. She was so excited and I was excited for her. I never saw her again but I never forgot her. My sympathy to her family.

Beautiful memories of Fran as children at Stratfield School.
Always friendly, and kind. Rest in peace, Fran.
My deepest sympathy to her brother, and family.
