Francis Matthew Chaco

CHACO Francis Matthew Chaco, age 76, of New Orleans, died on Friday, February 20, 2004, in Louisiana. Born in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Matthew and Veronica Hromjak Chaco. He resided in New Orleans for 10 years. He was a retired accountant for Beard Sand and Gravel Co. of Milford. He was a Korean veteran serving in the Navy. Survivors include two sisters, Veronica Mieczkowski of Stratford, and Agnes Cassetta of Jupiter, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 13, 2004, at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church, Bridgeport, at 9 a.m. Interment in the family plot at St. John-s Cemetery, Stratford. The Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main Street, Bridgeport (on the Trumbull line), was entrusted with local arrangements.
