A horse walks into a bar....the bartender says "why the long face?" :=) Dad loved that joke. When we take a walk around the corner from our house, there's a pasture with two Norwegian Fjord horses. There's one named Daege that is mostly black with a white mask on his face.I've told him the joke and he just looks back at me with a long face and I think of Dad. We all love and miss him very much.

Dad has been at rest for several weeks now, and we miss him very much. For those wanting to visit Dad's interment site, he is at Mt. St. Peter's Cemetery within the interior section of the original mausoleum. Access to the interior of the mausoleum is unavailable on Saturday afternoons, and all day Sunday. My family would like to express special thanks to all of you who have been so supportive during this difficult time. Additional special thanks to St. Jude's Parish, the respectful U.S. Army Military Honor Guard of Waterbury, the wonderful and caring staff of the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, our limo driver Eddy, the floral artists at Langanke's, and the support team of Mt. St. Peter's.

I miss you very much, Uncle frank. I can't believe your journey on earth has changed to your new journey in Heaven. But it is a beautiful thought that you are with your Mom-Grandma Palembas, your sister-Pauline and many many more family that have gone before! Pets too!Your legacy will live on in this bloodline of new little twin-girls-to-be. I was thinking they may even look like you! That would be beautiful! Your children Marlene and Frank were such cute babies in the photos. Mom would have loved the twins.I'm sure of it! It's exciting from Joe and John Palestak to Thomas and Paula(me) Weeks, and now two little girls from your Godchild -Benjamin Barta! Ok will sign off now. I just have been thinking of you alot. My Dad's services were held yesterday 1/17/13. At a later date in hopefully the near future, I will update this book with some more information and details. I would like to extend a quick thank you to all of our friends, family, and neighbors who have taken the time to recognize Dad through the online guest book here and through the Adzima Funeral Home website. In some cases, I do not have contact information to personally thank all, but please know that all entries meant so very much to myself and family during this difficult time. We have also received many non online condolences, gifts, food, and support from so many others paying respect to Dad and providing support to our family. My sincere thank you to all from myself and family!

My Dear Uncle Frank, I LOVE YOU. I have so many great memories when you used to come visit us in Westport at my Moms (your sister Pauline's)house. You and Aunt Jo Marlene and Frank would come and make us laugh and very happy! I will never forget when I was 10 years old and all the kids went with their friends to local fair. I was sad because i missed going with them. So you personally took me and I rode those amusement swings and got cotton candy! You went out of your way for me! And dancing at Mom and Dads 50th anniversary! How fun! The baptisms of Luke and Ben as their Godfather was so beautiful. Gosh there are so many things to tell you...like being with Mom (your sister Pauline) in Oct 2008 at her 2 last days. But my heart is filled with gratitude and love around our last visit last week when my husband ED, our sweet dog Abby, my veteran brother Bill Weeks, and myself came to see you. I will always remember your beautiful smile upon seeing us! And how you enjoyed the jelly doughnut. So thank you from the bottom of my aching and broken Heart ,for being such a great Uncle and great role model to me. LOVE Paula Weeks Barta . And all my Family too

My prays, thoughts and love are with you. It has been an honor to have had the Kovacs' as part of my extended family. Pops will be greatly missed, but fondly remembered. I can still see him sitting in the folding chair at camp with a fish pole in his hands and a grin on his face.
Love you all,
