Jakey was a great friend . he had a good heart . He was a real respectable person. If he could help you in any way it was done. Bruce and I was just laughing about some of the good times we had with Jakey. Bruce was just telling me that Jakey was coming back to Connecticut it couldn't have been more than a month ago since we talked. It is truly a tragedy, A waste of a beautiful person. To the Family and Bruce stay strong and rely on Jehovah he will pull you through. The Edmonds Family

I was fortunate enough to see Jakie a few months ago when Fay and I were back home in Bridgeport for a visit. He arrived at my brother's home with his long time friend Bruce Williams. When he entered the house I didn't recognize him at first and when I did realize it was him we hugged each other. It was at that moment that we were able to heal a long time unresolved issue. I told him that I was hard on him when he was little because I loved him and he said that he understood. It was all that the 2 of us could do to hold back the tears. I'm grateful for that moment and will treasure it.

Fred was a thoughtfull and kind person, always willing to lend a helping hand. He was intriguing to listen to and have converstions with. He loved children and always made sure they were having fun when he was around. Fred was very helpful to my Grandparents before they passed on and for that I am deeply appreciative. May his soul rest in peace and dwell in the house of the LORD, forever.
