George Massaro

MASSARO George Massaro, age 51, beloved husband of Erin (Leahy) Massaro of Shelton died on April 10, 2003, in Suffield, Conn. Born in Bridgeport on October 21, 1951, he was the son of the late Joseph and Eleanor (Barichco) Massaro. He worked as a painting contractor and previously resided in Milford and Bridgeport before moving to Shelton. Besides his wife of Shelton, he leaves a step-father, Alexander Jovia of Stratford; a step-son, Matthew Hmurcik; and a step-daughter Chelsea Hmurcik, both of Shelton; brothers, Gary Massaro and his wife, Pam, Joseph Massaro and his wife, Karen, Robert Massaro, Julius Massaro, all of Stratford, and Paul Jovia and his wife, Jennifer; a sister, Lenore Caserta and her husband, Frank, of Bridgeport; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, George Joseph Massaro Jr. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Grace Church, 497 Second Hill Lane in Stratford on Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at 10 a.m..
