Dad, sorry that I was not there to say good-bye to you but I am comforted to know that you went peacefully. My brother and I will always cherish our trips to TwinFair, bowling, going for ice cream every Sunday, and traveling cross country to see the Grand Canyon, Disneyland, and San Francisco. One of my very special memories was eating homemade popcorn in the blue bowl, which I still use to this day. I would always wait for you to come home from work for your hug and playing “ticklish flies”. The two of us remember sledding, making snowmen, and your love of Australian Pine Christmas trees. After Sunday mass, you would take us to DiCamillo's to get peanut donuts, because you knew they were our favorite treat. You helping us with our Math homework on your graph paper from work, the Knights of Columbus Christmas parties at the Aquarium, and many, many more memories of our childhood in Niagara Falls remain deep in our hearts FOREVER. I know you are an angel now watching over us. Life is a journey with many roads to cross – I will keep these father/daughter memories alive; I see how my daughters and their relationship with their father is so important and I will remember that I had that also at one time in my life. I am so happy that I shared a special part of your journey when I was a young girl. Rest in peace daddy, love you ox.
