Grace W. Gaskins Greer

GREER Grace W. Gaskins Greer, age 62, of Bridgeport, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 21, 2003 in Greenwich. She was born on August 21, 1940 to the late Rev. George Watford and Mary Watford. She was the wife of the late David Greer. Grace leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Willie Roosevelt Gaskins, Glen Keith Gaskins; daughters, Natalie Gaskins-Patterson and Angel Gaskins-Younger; brothers, Walter Watford, Melvin Watford; sisters, Ollie Morris, Queen Miller, Margaret Moring, Mary Johnson, Shirley Paramore and Teresa Chapman. Nine grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews and other family members. Grace was predeceased by three brothers, George Watford, William Theadore Watford and Charles Jones. A service will be held on Saturday, January 25 at 11 a.m. at Messiah Baptist Church, 210 Congress Street, Bridgeport. Friends may greet the family from 9 a.m. until time of service. Interment to held in Watford Cemetery, Colerain, N.C. At the request of the family all flowers to be sent to Hunter Funeral Home, 123 Rhue Street, Ahoskie, NC 27910.
