George and Gary,

Sorry to have heard of your Mom's passing. The South End was a special place for kids to grow up in, especially Seaside Village, and the relationships were special. I hope this finds you and your families are doing well. John

Gary and George -

I'm thinking of you and wishing you and the extended Hoppes family hope in the midst of sorrow and comfort in the midst of pain. I'll always remember the Hoppes family as an integral part of the wider Seaside Village family and your mother as a kind and gentle woman who "gracefully" tolerated the shenanigans of us kids back then. You and your loved ones are in my thoughts and prayers. May God Bless Grace and her family. May she rest in everlasting peace.

On behalf of the Swanson family, I want to extend our sincere sympathies to the entire Hoppes family. Personally, I have many fond memories of Mrs. Hoppes and pray that God would comfort her family during this difficult time. For those of us who were fortunate to grow up in Seaside Village during the 50's, 60's & 70's... it was a privilege to know "Grace"... Lord knows that some of us were a bit mischievous (not me, of course...I'm speaking about Stanley) but Grace handled those occasions extremely well. "So long (for now) Grace!"
