Harold Butler Obituary
Harold Glen Butler age 82 of Trumbull, CT, loving husband of 46 years to the late Sharon Holford Butler passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 4, 2023. Born in Bridgeport, CT; he was the son of the late Harold T. and Mary I. Glendening Butler. Harold graduated from Andrew Warde High School in 1959. He entered into the US Army in August of 1959 and ended his tour in August of 1965 where he was a Military Police Officer. Harold worked at Wells Fargo Armored Car for 12 years then for Vicks Co. later Proctor Gamble Co. as an executive chauffeur for 17 years. Glen received an award for safe driving, he drove over one million miles accident free.
Harold is survived by his children, Scott Butler, Edward Butler and his wife Susan, Michell Butler, stepsons Edward Kelkis and Gary Kelkis.
To honor his wishes, all services will be private with the burial of ashes to take place at a later date in CT at the State Veteran Cemetery in Middletown, CT. This was a picture of Andrew Warde class of 1959 Reunion. Glen is on far right at the end. My husband & I co-chaired the reunion committee, the 60th!!! We are front center, I´m in light blue, Bob has on a long sleeve white shirt. Glen loved to tease around in high school. He was much more subdued at the reunion.
