Harriet Palmer
Harriet Palmer passed away peacefully on December 30, 2022. She was 98 years old. Harriet was born in Bridgeport, CT, the daughter of the late Michael Kalinowski and Mary Polinski. She attended Harding High School where she met her late husband August Palmer, Jr. Harriet worked at Universal Machine Company, the family business, for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and loved taking them shopping. Harriet loved to travel. Her favorite was her trips to the casino. She is survived by her children, August Palmer, III (Rose), James Palmer, David Palmer, and Mary Carfo (David), six cherished grandchildren Debbie (Chris), Jessica (David), Jimmy, David (Lauren), Justin (Kelly), and Ashley (Matthew), her great-grandchildren Rachel, Nick, Ava, Avery, Jackson, and Matthew August. She was predeceased by her sisters Angela and Rosalie, and brothers Edward and Joseph. A graveside service will be held Friday, January 27th at 2pm at St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
