Helen Starbuck Jones Moore, age 92, of Southport, CT, died peacefully on May 1, 2014 at The Greens, Wilton, CT. She was born September 13, 1921 in Yonkers, NY, and was the daughter of Frederick Irving Starbuck and Harriet Greenwood Snelling Starbuck. Helen Moore was our neighbor for almost 20 years. She lived with Roy Moore next door to us and took loving care of him. Roy Moore grew up with our dad, Bryan Caldwell in NYC and we were all delighted that they found each other. They made a lovely couple. I am sorry to hear that Ms. Moore has passed on but she certainly was a mentor and a kind, generous and caring neighbor. she was in a breakthrough field in her career. she attended with Roy the 50th reunion at Harvard and my Mother and Father enjoyed sitting with them and catching up with classmates from 1940-1945 in Cambridge, Mass. She will be missed. She was a good and considerate neighbor.
