Ignacia Carrasquillo Obituary

CARRASQUILLO Ignacia "Nacha" Del Valle Carrasquillo, age 79 of Bridgeport, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 30, 2010 in her home. Nacha was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico but has moved into the Bridgeport area. She is the daughter of the late Pedro Carrasquillo and the late Carmen Carrasquillo. She is the beloved wife of Santos Del Valle who she married more than 62 years ago. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Jose L. Del Valle, Carlos Del Valle, Sotero Del Valle, Jesus Del Valle, Santos "Hipio" Del Valle, Jose Angel "Papito" Del Valle, and Antonio Carrasquillo; daughters, Carmen Del Valle, Polin Del Valle, Felicita Del Valle, Juanita Del Valle, Maria Del Valle, Maria L. "Tita" Del Valle; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends who will sorely miss this beautiful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Funeraria Luz de Paz (La Funeraria de NUESTRA Comunidad), 426 E. Washington Ave, Bridgeport. Final disposition will take place in Caguas, Puerto Rico.
