Irwin Millstein Obituary

MILLSTEIN Irwin Millstein, age 73, of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Fairfield, died on Thursday, May 1, 2003, at Hospice of Palm Beach County. Mr. Millstein was born in Bronx, N.Y., son of the late Nathan and Sarah (Gordon) Millstein and stepfather, Israel Kessler, and was a member of Congregation Ahavath Achim. He was a former partner along with his brother-in-law, Irwin Baena, of Baena Bros. Inc. of Bridgeport. He is survived by his wife, Julia (Baena) Millstein of West Palm Beach; his daughters and sons-in-law, Renee Rosenbaum and Ira Jacobs of Congers, N.Y., Ellen and Joel Rothwax of Fairfield, and Sheryl and Simon Berkowitz of Trumbull; his grandchildren, Adam, Jill and David Rosenbaum, Jennifer, Melissa and Jason Rothwax, Rebecca, Zachary and Jacob Berkowitz and Sari and Scott Jacobs. Mr. Millstein is also survived by his sister, Etta Farbman of Riverdale, N.Y.; his sisters-in-law, Rita Fintzy and her husband, Leonard, Doris Millstein and Ann Baena; and many nieces and nephews. Services will take place on Sunday, May 4, 2003, at 2 p.m. from the Abraham L. Green & Son Funeral Home, 88 Beach Road, Fairfield, with interment following at Loyalty Cemetery on Burroughs Road in Fairfield. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33411. Shiva will be observed at the Berkowitz residence in Trumbull through Friday, May 9, 2003.
