Jack McAdoo Obituary
Jack McAdoo Jr. age 67, of Bridgeport, fell asleep in death on Friday Oct,4,2013. Son of the late Jack McAdoo Sr. and Gertrude Beasley. Jack was born and raised in Mebane, N.C. before moving to Stamford and finally to Bridgeport where he lived for the last 36 years. He worked for F.A.F. in Norwalk for 35 years as well as Wackenhut Security where he was stationed at GE Capital in Stamford for a number of years. He was a kind hearted man who never met a stranger because everyone he met was a friend. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 43 years Evelyn (Johnson) McAdoo and son Jack McAdoo III, along with his daughter in law Johanne McAdoo and 3 grandsons Jaquan, Jachim and Jonathan McAdoo and his only grand daughter and "babygirl" Jacklyn Sarah McAdoo, along with sister's and brother in laws Ella Clemons, Dorothy Atkinson, Arnold and Delores Locke, Juanita Kidd, Gary and Sylvia Jarmon, Mack and Rosa Reed and Henry Johnson Jr. All of Greenville, N.C. A celebration of his life will be at 1 p.m on Saturday October 12, 2013 at the Lester Gee Funeral Home, 1390 Fairfield Ave, Bridgeport. We are so sorry to hear of his passing. I knew the Mcadoo's since I was young. Mr. Mcadoo was always approachable and enjoyed talking to people and you could have a never ending conversation with him. He will be missed.
