James Koutrakos Obituary
James M. Koutrakos, age 60, of Shelton entered into rest on Tuesday, February 3, 2015. Beloved husband of Joann (Brennan) Koutrakos, father of Andrew Koutrakos, son of Steven Koutrakos and the late Elaine (Locke) Koutrakos, James is the beloved father of Andrew Koutrakos, brother of Frank, Nicholas, and Nancy Koutrakos and the late Steven Koutrkos. Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Friday from 3:30 to 7 PM. On Saturday his procession will leave the funeral home at 8:30 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM at St. Margaret Mary Church in Shelton. Offer condolences online at www.riverviewfh.com.

I met Jim working at a hardware store. The weirdest thing happened, I moved to Southern California in 75 , he had no idea which town, I then ran into him with another of his friends at the gas station across from my apartment. It was almost like the Twilight Zone. What are the chances.

I don't believe Jim is gone, I think he is here and will always be here living in our thoughts. He was such a happy and fun person, will welcome the day I see him again. Please Jim continue to watch over us.

I was just thinking of my old friend yesterday. We went to St. Ambrose and Stratford HS together. He always had a way of making me laugh. Have not seen him since high school but he was always in my thoughts. So sorry for the loss.
