March 19, 1947 - January 11, 2025
James Robert Sherrod Jr., of Shelton, CT, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2025, in New Haven, CT, at the age of 77. Born on March 19, 1947, he was a devoted father to his two sons, Jason and Marcus Sherrod, and a loving grandfather to Ben, Marcus, and Isabella Sherrod.
James is also survived by his ex-wife, Robin Sherrod; his stepchildren; his brothers, Greg and Hans Sherrod; and his sister, Denise Sherrod.
A proud veteran, James will be honored with a private ceremony with military honors. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
