James Robert Sherrod Jr. of Shelton, CT passed away peacefully on January 11, 2025, in New Haven, CT, at the age of 77. Born on March 19, 1947, he was a devoted father to his two sons, Jason and Marcus Sherrod, and a loving grandfather to Ben, Marcus, and Isabella Sherrod.
James is also survived by his ex-wife, Robin Sherrod; his stepchildren; his brothers, Greg and Hans Sherrod; and his sister, Denise Sherrod.
A proud veteran, James will be honored with a private ceremony with military honors. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
