Jim and I were close friends and teammates at MHS and roommates for one year at UCONN. We probably shoveled a million oyster shells together during summer vacations.Jim played hard, worked hard, and was kind and thoughtful, and must have been a great teacher. I share your loss.

Jimmy and I have been close friends for 69 years going back to our days at UCONN and roommates for 3 of those without a crossword ever. Smart, funny, kind, generous and loyal. are all descriptive of him. I was blessed to know my friend, my oldest friend.

Jim was a close friend of mine. We go back to our high school football days! As time went on, we re-connected with team mates and enjoyed meeting for lunches.......recalling our youth and solving the problems of the world. Jim was a gentleman with a sharp mind and a passion for teaching. I shall miss him.
