Jason Ludden Obituary

LUDDEN Jason Scott Ludden, age 32, of Milford, beloved husband of eight years to Audra (Castaldo) Ludden, departed this life on Sunday, August 20, 2006 in the arms of his wife, at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Jason was the proud father of his 7 year old son, Matthew. Jason was born on October 2, 1973 in Manchester, N.H., son of Joel Ludden and Valerie Bowen. He worked for Pitney Bowes for 11 years before becoming a Senior Product consultant with Varsity Logistics for the past two years. He was also the proud owner and operator of Ludden Sound Design. His family meant the world to him. His tastes and love for life were diverse, he was even honored in officiating over his sister's and his father's weddings. Jason loved music and enjoyed doing the sound mixing for numerous bands. He enjoyed playing bass guitar in his spare time. His spirit and great love for life will be carried on by his loving wife, Audra and their son, Matthew, of Milford. His mother, Valerie Bowen of California; his father Joel Ludden of Mo., and his sister, Erin Burke and her husband Randy of Califonria. He also leaves his in-laws, Susan and Bill Castaldo, of Milford; and his brother-in-law, Jon Castaldo and his wife Cindy, along with his niece and nephew. Relatives and friends are invited to gather during a visitation at Smith Funeral Home, 135 Broad Street, Milford, on Wednesday, August 23, from 5 to 7 p.m. A service celebrating Jason's life will be held at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. At Jason's request this will be a casual event, please come as you are. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Matthew Ludden College Fund, 144 Winthrop Place, Milford, CT 06460.
