Jean Mullally Obituary

MULLALLY Jean K. Mullally, age 75 of Hamden, died May 13th at St. Raphael's after a brief illness. She was the wife of Leonard Mullally. Born in New Haven, daughter of the late Francis and Martha Killian, she was a long time service manager at Marshalls of Hamden. An avid UCONN Women's Basketball and Boston Red Sox fan. She was also a member of the Catholic Womens Union and Alter Society at St. Boniface Church. Nicknamed "Mona" by her family, a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother, she loved to garden, laugh, and story tell. In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, Richard (Lourdes) Mullally of New Haven and Jim (Linda) Mullally of Wallingford; a daughter, Deborah (James) Mullally Tozlosky of Fairfield; grandchildren, Michael A. and Bonnie J. Mullally and Jaclyn, Jamie, and James Jr. Tozlosky. She was predeceased by a sister, Joyce Slachter. Funeral Monday at 10 a.m. from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, and 10:30 a.m. at Ascension Church. Burial in Centerville cemetery. Friends may call Monday morning from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Ass'n, 5 Brookside Dr., P.O Box 5022, Wallingford CT 06492. www.torellofh.com.
