Jennie Barillari

BARILLARI Jennie (Jean) Barillari, age 83 of Trumbull, beloved mother of Janet Barillari, entered into her eternal rest on Monday, October 11, 2010. She was retired from the Schick Razor Company after 35 years of service as a Quality Control Inspector. She was a woman of great dignity and courage which she maintained throughout her life and also through a hard fought illness. She was a loving woman to her family and friends. The joy of her life was her devoted daughter, Janet and her husband, Paul D'Ostilio of Woodbridge. She leaves a great void in the lives of her brothers, Dominick Palumbo and his wife, Patricia of Trumbull, who took great care of Jennie, and Eraldo Palumbo and his wife, Pearl of Southington; a sister-in-law, Dolly Palumbo of Bridgeport; several devoted nieces and nephews; and a dear friend, Dorothy D'Ostilio and her family of Fairfield. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Bruno Barillari and brother, Edmund Palumbo. The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the staff of both St.Vincent's Medical Center and Lord Chamberlain Rehab Center for the dedication and compassionate care which they provided to Jennie. Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 200 Shelton Rd., Trumbull on Friday, October 15, 2010 at 10 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
