Jenny (Annetta) Zangrilli Pullo, age 81, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Alfredo Pullo Sr., passed away at home on Thursday, February 19, 2015 with her loving family by her side. Born in Ripi, Province of Frosinone, Italy on August 11, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Michelina Cefaloni Zangrilli. She came to the United States in the early 1950's and began her working career as a seamstress and finally retired from Bridgeport Hospital, with over 20 years of dedicated service. She was a member of the Society of Padre Pio at St. Margaret's Shrine, enjoyed gardening, traveling and spending time with her friends. But above all her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Whether it was the traditional Sunday dinner or a quick visit, she always had a smile and loved seeing her family. Her dedication and love will continue to live on in the hearts of her family. Annetta will truly be missed. Survivors include her devoted children, Josephine Ettorre of Huntington, Daniel Pullo II of Monroe and Alfredo Pullo Jr. and his wife Ida of Trumbull, her baby brother, Michael Zangrilli of Trumbull, two cherished granddaughters, JoAnne Ettorre and Kristina Romer and her husband Greg, an aunt, Assunta Cacchiani, her godchildren, Dino Cortina and Linda Lisi as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to the love of her life, Alfredo, she was pre-deceased by her infant son, Daniel Pullo, a sister, Elena Pullo and son-in-law, John Ettorre. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport.
