Jerry Iannucci Obituary

Jerry Iannucci Jr.
It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of the love of my life, Jerry Iannucci Jr. on December 23rd, 2023. Jerry was born on December 7th, 1939 to his parents Florence Balletto Iannucci and Jerry Iannucci, Sr. He was raised in the Hollow section of Bridgeport, of which he was very proud. He attended St. Augustine's Grammar School, Wooster Jr High & Central High School. He later learned the trade of slipcovers. He eventually opened his own business, Jerry's Shoppe of Décor, first in Bridgeport, and later in Stratford. He then expanded the business to custom draperies & window treatments. He sold the business in 2015 to move on to other endeavors but regretted that decision tremendously as he missed the interaction with clients. bJerry enjoyed traveling with friends on cruises everywhere, but mostly to Bermuda. Nothing topped his love of travel like his trip to Italy in 2016. He loved his Friday nights out with friends and hosting parties, where you would find him decked out in his tuxedo.
Left to cherish his memories are his fiancée of 24 years, Donna Patterson; sister Jennie Marro; sister-in-law Marie Iannucci; daughter Sandy Landro and husband Tom; daughter Debbie Jaswaye & granddaughter Alicia; son Jerry Iannucci III and girlfriend Laurie; stepdaughter Melissa Brownbill & grandson Lee; stepdaughter Jennifer Kluchnick & husband Pete and grandchildren Alyvia & Aiden, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews & dear friends. In addition to his parents, Jerry was predeceased by his sister Mary Colangelo, his brother Joe Iannucci, and brother-in-law Mario 'Babe' Marro.
Calling hours will be this Friday, December 29th from 4pm until 7pm at Abriola Parkview, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, CT 06611. A Celebration of Life starting at 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, www.stjude.org or the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org in his memory would be appreciated.
