Joan Lalley Devore

DEVORE Joan Lalley Devore, age 75 of Centerville, Mass., previously of Fairfield, died on Friday, September 21, 2007 at home with her family by her side. She was the wife of Charles A. Devore for 51 years; mother of Michael Devore and his wife, Eileen, of Trumbull, Daniel Devore and his wife, Amy, of Westport and Cathleen Devore of Barrington, Ill.; sister of Betty Nelson and her husband, Ed, of Fairfield; grandmother of Brock and Chelsea Lachapelle, Patrick, James and Kathleen Devore and Sam and Lindsey Sagnella. Joan was born in Bridgeport and was a longtime resident of Fairfield where she and Charles raised their family. They enjoyed many years of summer fun at the Holiday Beach Club. She lived on Cape Cod, Mass. for 11 years. She was a beloved wife, mother, nana and sister. Visiting hours will be in the John-Lawrence Funeral Home, 3778 Falmouth Road (Rte. 28), Marstons Mills on Monday, September 24 from 4 to 6 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 25 at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Victory Church, 230 S.
