Dear Peg, Sonny and Family,
I am the fellow that was in the bed next to John in Spring Hill Health and Rehab with the bum knee. I am very sorry to hear of your sorrow. I would like you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Please understand that I am at your service at anytime for anything should you need my assistance in anyway. I did not know John personally but was acquanited with his brothers, George, Gene, and sister, Monica, who became a nun. They were a lovely and caring family. I played football with brother, George, in a vacant lot off St. Michael's Ave. in Straford, Ct. and he was an excellent athelete, runner, and punter as I remember. I remember his parents and particularly his mother who was customer of my father's Peter's Market on Boston Ave. in Stratford. May John and his predeceased family rest in peace. Stan Baldyga
