I did not know John personally but was acquanited with his brothers, George, Gene, and sister, Monica, who became a nun. They were a lovely and caring family. I played football with brother, George, in a vacant lot off St. Michael's Ave. in Straford, Ct. and he was an excellent athelete, runner, and punter as I remember. I remember his parents and particularly his mother who was customer of my father's Peter's Market on Boston Ave. in Stratford. May John and his predeceased family rest in peace. Stan Baldyga
