I did not know John personally but was acquanited with his brothers, George, Gene, and sister, Monica, who became a nun. They were a lovely and caring family. I played football with brother, George, in a vacant lot off St. Michael's Ave. in Straford, Ct. and he was an excellent athelete, runner, and punter as I remember.
