I was so saddened to hear of John's passing when I attended last night's club meeting at Boothe pavillion hall.
John was a very knowlegeable and caring person - easy to speak to - and always willing to help me with valued advice. He was a true gentleman.
Over the years when I served in the capacity of Treasurer of this club, John helped give me direction and focus. Even after I stepped down from this position, John was always there to help out with his "pearls of wisdom" and I always enjoyed his presence at the meetings and club functions.
He will be truly missed.
I send my heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
A beacon in the night is now unlit, but John will shine in my heart forever. He was a truly remarkable person.
Sincerely,
Kathie A. Powell

Dear Jill, I'm so sorry to read about your loss. John was a great boss to me and a lasting friend for years afterwards. I hadn't spoken to him in about a year, but our last conversation went on for hours (like usual). I was just thinking about him over the weekend, and wanted to give him a call. Now I know why--I will truly miss him! He was a friend to my family as well--especially my daughter, Rebecca. It seemed she held a special place in his heart. He would always ask about her, and the Christmas cards would be directed to Mike, Terri & especially Rebecca! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am sorry to find out about John. I can remember when we were kids in Walnut Beach together with the rest of the Alderisio family.
A good family to be friends with back then.
John was always upfront and pleasant to tqlk to, although I haven't seen or talked to him more recently, I will never forget him.
God bless John and family.

You don't know me, but I'd like to offer my condolences to Jill. John read in the paper my husband, Al Cimmino's, 7 year memoriam. More than 50 years ago they were in the National Guard together. We talked for a long time about my husband, his life, my life, and other things. I called him back another time and we talked. He was very easy to talk to even though we never knew each other. So sorry for your loss, you had a very special relationship.

John was a dear and treasured friend to the entire Heid Family. He always made himself available to lend an ear or give advice. John had such a kind way about him...and a terrific sense of humor. We will all miss him very much. Jill, please know our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. John will always be in our hearts.
