To all the family... My sincerest condolences to each of you. John had a long and I am sure a life most satisfying to him.I am honored to have played on the same baseball teams as he did 'though I was much younger.I knew many of the family and still remember the Howell home not far from old Legion Field. Thanks Johnny you didn't have that much of a fast ball but that curve ball was all you needed.
