John R. Mahran

MAHRAN John R. Mahran, age 79 of Shelton entered into rest Tuesday, August 26, 2008 in St. Vincent's Medical Center Bridgeport. He is the devoted husband of 28 years of Patricia Martin Mahran. Mr. Mahran was born in Bridgeport, November 7, 1928 son of the late John and Delia Johnson Mahran and was a Bridgeport resident for many years until moving to Shelton 18 years ago. He was a Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, and was employed for over 35 years by the City of Bridgeport in the Engineering Department until his retirement 20 years ago, and was also an avid golfer. Friends may call on Tuesday, September 2, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road Shelton. On Thursday September 4, friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 11a.m. in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 186 Coram Ave. Shelton. Burial will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery Bridgeport. At the request of the family memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd at the above address.
