John Ribas Obituary
John G. Ribas, age 55, of New London, entered into rest on Wednesday November 13, 2013 in Lawrence Memorial Hospital. John was born in Derby on Dec. 15, 1957 and raised in Shelton, son of the late Vincent and Dorothy (Capece) Ribas, Sr. and has been a New London resident for 10 years. John spent most of his career working at restaurants. He was currently a self employed Taxi Driver and enjoyed going to the Casino. He is the beloved father of Melissa Ribas, and the brother of Richard Ribas, Vincent Ribas, Jr. and the late Robert Ribas and uncle of Nicholas, Anthony, and Riccardo Ribas. He also is survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may greet his family on Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM in the Riverview Funeral Home 390 River Road Shelton. His memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 11 am in the funeral home. Please leave condolences to his family at www.riverviewfh.com
