Jose Malave Obituary
Jose T. Malave, age 82, of Bridgeport passed away into the precious peaceful rest of the Lord on Saturday, January 5, 2012 in St. Vincent's Medical Center while surrounded by his loving family at his bedside. Jose was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. He is the beloved husband of Margarita Malave of Bridgeport whom he married over 60 years ago; Together they were parents of three sons Jose Malave Jr., Hector Malave and Victor Malave; three daughters Edna Malave, Carmen Felix and Michelle Malave; He is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; his brothers Hector, William, Octavio and Miguel Malave; his sisters Irma, Aurea and Alicia Malave; and a host of other relatives and friends who will sorely miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 6-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport; Funeral services have been scheduled for Thursday, January 10, 2013 beginning at 10:00 A.M.
