Jose Muñiz Cruz Obituary
Jose Muñiz Cruz, 70, unexpectedly departed on September 25, 2015 with his family by his side in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He was the beloved husband of Rosemarie Muniz in which, they shared 44 amazing years of marriage.
Jose was born on July 5, 1945, in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, to Jose Muñiz Sr. and Elsa Cruz. He recently retired from the City of Bridgeport where he dedicated 27 and a half years at High Horizon Magnet School and Multicultural School.
He was hardworking, giving, strong, and most importantly a believer. He enjoyed family, gardening, and classic cars.
He will be deeply missed and is survived by his Wife: Rosemarie Muñiz, Children: Daughters Joanne Muñiz, Jennifer Muñiz, Michelle Muñiz, Deborah Muñiz, Stephanie Lamujer, and son Jose Muñiz. Son-in-law: Jose Ortiz, and his Grandchildren: Joanna Muñiz, Joshua Vazquez, Destiny Perez, Orlando Rodriguez, Elaanie Jackson, Rolando Rodriguez, Nathaniel Rodriguez, and Cameron Ortiz. He was predeceased by Jose Muniz Sr., Elsa Cruz, and Lillian Muñiz Cruz.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 10:00 in the morning at Good Sheppard Church, 725 Hancock Avenue, Bridgeport, Connecticut, 06606. There will be a burial to follow immediately after the funeral service at Lawncroft Cemetery, in Fairfield, Connecticut, 06825. There will be a reception to follow immediately after burial service at Good Sheppard Church.

Oramos para que Dios les bendiga y le de el consuelo y la fortaleza que necesitan en este momento de dolor y angustia.
