Joseph Gabriel Obituary

GABRIEL Joseph P. Gabriel, age 40, of the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, died on Thursday, July 22, 2004, at his home. Born in Bridgeport, Joseph was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and Sacred Heart University. He was a former employee of Joseph Gabriel CPA, and People's Bank. Joe was a member of the Fayerweather Yacht Club. Survivors include his parents, Joseph and Patricia Gabriel of Fairfield; his special friend, Dee Ruas of Bridgeport; two sisters, Mary Ellen Keenan and her husband, James, of Norwalk, and Laura Spinelli and her husband, Joseph, of Trumbull; one brother, Thomas Gabriel and his friend, Karen Nassef, of Trumbull; four nieces, Jaime, Julie, Stephanie and Casey; aunts and uncles, Roger Cormier and his wife, Sandra Cohen, of California, and Barbara Brinkman and her husband, Robert, of N. Branford. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 26, 2004, at 10 a.m. directly at St. Pius X Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Spear Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. Tom and I would like to extend our heartfelt sympathy to your family. Joe was a very caring and gentle man. He was kind to our sister, Dee and we appreciate all the he did for her.

We also appreciate that you have made her feel like part of your family, and for this we are very greatful.
